DREAM INCUBATION CHAMBER, VOL. 2:

THE BRIDGE TO CHIMERAS

2026 /Performance / 35 minutes

The Dream Incubation Chamber is a performance-based dream laboratory that inspires itself from ancient incubation practices to explore how falling, heartbreak and psychic pain can be transformed into new realities through ritual, sound, and sleep-inspired dramaturgy. It stages the chamber as a contemporary sacred precinct where audiences and collaborators enter a suspended time – where reality is bent – to experiment with other modes of consciousness, and rehearse ways of remoulding memory and experience into something new.

Through DIC we are invited into the depths of our vulnerabilities as a means to build empathy. We introspect in our capacity to shift our own reality through how we sleep, share and attend to our own inner worlds. It is a place of radical attention and intention, and a space of initiation.

Volume 2: The Bridge to Chimeras focuses on falling and transformation through a shapeshifting figure’s journey through cycles of collapse, ecstatic retreat, disappearance and metamorphosis.

In the Dream Incubation Chamber, we’re allowed to fall, to be vulnerable. We dare to fall. And by having fallen, we create a space of deep empathy.
